The Wall of Peace
Welcome to United Nations Green in the heart of London facing Westminster Abbey and Methodist Central Hall where nations assembled in 1946 for the first UN General Assembly.
It was so named in 2021, 75 years later when London joined other cities with parks and avenues named after the United Nations.
We plan to install a Wall of Peace on United Nations Green, possibly using black granite (see About) but we are also reviewing other facings.
We invite you to buy a brick, joining other Master Builders whose names are already embedded in our virtual Wall of Peace below.
